Acer palmatum 'Aoyagi gawa'

here is a cool tree. it has great green leaves snd the name 'green river' fits the tree

 

here is 2011 spring color, It just keeps looking beter and better.

 

I got this at the end of last year too late to take any good pictures, but let me revive this old thread with a young tree:

 

Well revived Xi. I do love these fine leafed cultivars.

 

Only a small one but a new arrival from late last year, just opened up.

 

Fully leafed out now and quite a healthy green:
