Acer japonicum 'O taki'

    Here is Acer japonicum 'O taki'. I had a small one before but it never took off and eventually bit the dust. This one looks like a keeper. Photo made 4-14-04.

    This is a very large-leafed Japonicum which is sensational in the Spring. Huge colorful leaves come forth with peach-colored new leaves. Quite nice. This photo was taken April 19, 2005.

    This photo was taken of the same plant on April 25, 2007. It's colorful in the spring, displaying lots of pinks, light yellows, peach and lime green colors. It does, however, need some space.

    am seeing marvelous footage of this variety in the spring but does anyone have photos of the Japonicum in full Autmun colours ? I understand the colours are quite intense
