    This thread is set up to report the locations of Accolades reported in neighbourhood threads. Botanical name is Prunus 'Accolade' (P. sargentii x P. x subhirtella)

    Here is the location of some Accolades that were reported in neighbourhoods;

    West End/Stanley Park:
    * at Chilco minipark at Comox, i see photos.
    * at the Aquatic Centre, see photos.

    Shaughnessy:
    * on Angus Dr. , Angus Park in Shaughnessy, one tree was a 2009 Festival Favourite, see photos.
    also in same neighbourhood, Marguerite from King Edward to 28th, has been a Festival Favourite twice, see photos

    Burnaby: 6400 Block Halifax., see pictures

    Grandview-Woodland: McLean and William, see photos.

    Same neighbourhood, Charles between Templeton and Garden, see photos.

    Kerrisdale: * Several accolade trees are McCleery Park at the east side of Marine Crescent & on 50 Ave to MacDonald Street - please see pictures in Kerrisdale neighbourhood. They are 2008 favorites.
    Others mentioned in later years:
    * on Yew Street between 43rd & 46th, see pictures
    Kerrisdale: Angus Corporate Park next to the Fraser River Park, 1700-1750 West 75th, below Marine Drive

    Mount Pleasant: 7th, one tree between Glen and St Catherines, see photo.
    *6 Accolade cherry trees at the north side of City Hall at 12 Ave & Cambie Street, see pictures from Mount Pleasant; also same neighbourhood: on Yukon between 14th and 15th, 3 trees, see photos; [added 2011mar11 by wcutler]: also in Mount Pleasant, trees behind a townhouse complex at 15th and Columbia, see photos, and in the same posting one tree a block east from Yukon on 13th.

    Kerrisdale: Angus Corporate Park next to the Fraser River Park, 1700-1750 West 75th, below Marine Drive

    Killarney: Blake St near Garibaldi, 7000 and 7200 block, one tree each

    Marpole: 61st, Manitoba to Ontario; also
    66th west of Adera, no photos
    58th and Adera, see photos mostly of buds

    Oakridge: Ash St near 45th, on condo property, two large trees

    Richmond: Yaohan Centre at No 3 Rd and Cambie

    Riley Park: Sophia north of 20th, 2 large trees; also
    18th between Sophia and Prince Edward, two trees need confirming, see photos
    E. 30, one on each side of the street, between Sophia and John, see photos


    South Cambie: Laurel St from 19th to 20th Ave

    Sunset, one 'Accolade' among several 'Whitcomb' on 59th at Prince Edward. See photos.

    UBC: Wesbrook north of Cancellor, one nice tree; also
    The Barn coffeeshop, on Main Mall at Stores, see photos
    * UBC: First tree turning right on Wesbrook Crescent, about 30 metres north and downhill from Chancellor Boulevard, see photos.

    Not a timely posting. Here are more Accolade locations:

    Burnaby: Victory at Royal Oak, see posting (of trees not in bloom).

    Kensington-Cedar Cottage: two trees in front of apartment building on the north side of East Broadway, just east of Clark/Knight, see photos. Also John Hendry Park, near the parking lot off 19th are two fairly small trees, see photos. One nice private tree on the west side of Nanaimo, just north of Kingsway, photo.
    From older postings in this neighbourhood:
    * on Dumfries Between 32nd & 33rd in Kensington-Cedar Cottage, see photos.
    * Dumfries between 21~22 Ave please see pictures from Kensington/Cedar Cottage neighbourhood
    * 'Accolade' lining Lanark Street between 21 and 22 Avenues. please see pictures from Kensington/Cedar Cottage neighbourhood

    Mount Pleasant: 7th, one tree between Glen and St Catherines, see photo.
    Also, three trees on the lane north of 6th west of Fraser, photos.

    Richmond: block south of Ikea on Sweden Way where it dead-ends into Bathgate Way, see photos. Also Minoru Park, one tree, see photos. 18 blooming Accolades inside Granville Park, 6833 Livingstone Place, also six Accolade trees around the community, two on Gilbert which we reported previously, and two on Comstock and Livingstone Place, see photos. One 'Accolade' with three 'Whitcomb' at Chatham St at the Bus Station near 2nd Ave, photos. How about this: Along Williams Road, between No. 4 and Shell, more than 50 'Accolade' cherry trees, photos.

    Hastings-Sunrise: Turner east of Kamloops, a whole block of old trees on the north side of the street, photos.

    Shaughnessy: three trees at the playground at Shaughnessy Elementary School (on W King Edward & Alexandra), photos.
