Abies koreana "Horstmann's Silberlocke"

    I took this photo at a local nursery. Korean fir is known to bear cones at young age- these tub specimens were little over a meter high. While I can't confirm the cultivar name absolutely, it sure looks like Horstmann's Silberlocke. If anyone out there knows better, let me know.

    The first image shows the photo as it came out of the camera. The second image shows the results of applying the "digital velvia" action to the image, in the red channel only at about 50%. Daniel has mentioned this action on BPOTD before, I believe.

    It looks like Silberlocke fir to me. It is a very pretty small tree.
    I wonder if anybody have more info how often to water this fir.
