Here is baby burro's tail, from a trade with an entirely different person. This type is called 'burrito'.

The 2nd shot is another succulent called 'Jade' - the cuttings are beginning to grow like crazy...

Succulents are probably some of the awesomest plants ever, they just don't provide anything to anything else. Greedy plants... [:|

I enjoy them too. I want to collect more over the years. Maybe some 'hens and chicks' next.

Hmmmmm - actually the person sent me these other succulent cuttings too, that may even very well be some kind of 'hens and chicks' - they have some color to them and they're real small. Got them today, with the burro's tail.

I'll go take a shot...

Will have to get a better shot when it's daylight. The fluorescent lamp is washing it out - sorry. Here's a crappy picture though...

It is not however, 'hens and chicks'. I discovered upon closer inspection that it is something else. When the person who gave me them gets back to me, I will ask them what it is - unless someone else knows?...

The leaves are green and white, with burgundy tips. I will take a better shot when they get growing a bit. They just came out of a dark box today, where they've spent the last week or more. This picture, does them far from justice.

I like it that I have these new succulents to try. So fun.

Lastly, is my own 'String of beads' plant in the hanging basket. The picture was taken 2 months ago. Also a wonderful succullent...

Hmmm....let's see :)

The first I've attached is a Trichocereus pachanoi flowering a month or two ago. Beautiful flowers and a very enticing scent!

Then I've attached a pic of my first jalapeno fruit developing, this is current to the week most likely.

And last but definitely not least, my morning glories (Ipomoea tricolor) in full bloom! They've been averaging about 20 blooms every day lately :D

Hey - you sent me seeds for that cactus - and the morning glory!!! So gorgeous, Joey! Wow.

I didn't sow any of your cactus seeds yet, but wow, I think I will sow some tonight. Omg, those are stunning! Thanks Joey, for sharing.

Feel free to post more whenever you like. How beautiful.

Hi Hollyberry Lady,

Here are a couple of pics of my Delonix regia's I'm experimenting with. After a lot of heartache I now have 4 healthy trees a couple of months old. I'm a bit of a Palm Tree and Tropical plant fanatic, I have Bananas growing, Papaya, I've just planted some Mango stones. I have all sorts of palms on the go and I love Bouganvillea. I'll post some more pics when I'm at home on my own PC, There is one of my baby Washingtonia Palm 2 years ago its about 3 foot high now and planted out in the garden and doing well.

Oh Nath - I love your shots, too!

I have seeds for Palms, also:

1. Ensete Ventricosum
2. Washingtonia Robusta
3. Washingtonia filifera

Haven't sown any just yet, but your pictures are making me want to. Thanks so much for showing us, and feel free to post more pics whenever you want.

Good luck with your palms, Nath - they look gorgeous.

A terrible shot because I waited until it was too dark outside -sorry. This is my 'Hagley' Hybrid Clematis outside on the fence.

I'll take a better shot of the whole vine, when it's daylight...

Thanks ShearMe, they are my two extreme experiences, one wet and other dry. Actually all my cacti was grown indoors. In spring I got all planted in the garden. Let's see if they can survive outdoors in winter. Ofcourse with some protection.

I thought cacti were able to withstand winter...?
In the desert it gets both hot and cold.

Great shots, Nath!

The lilies look terrific. Are those foxgloves in the one pic? Tomatoes look healthy too. Very nice. Be sure to show more shots later. I enjoyed looking at all of them.

Thanks.

The final batch from today I think. I hope you liked my garden.

The tomatoes are a mixture of Red, Yellow and Green tomato's thoug I'm sure Lorax will correct me and tell you the green ones are what we call Tomatillos to make Salsa Verde and Guisados a type of not exactly stew but Caldo or sauce I gues you would say in English to go with meats and other dishes.
