Are you comparing your creation on the left to the photo on the right? Very well done! How can I go there?

Looks great, Naima. My only criticism is this: check out how the leaves are arranged on the real Beach Naupaka vs. your version - they're not in flat sprays, the way you've got them, but in sort of rounder bunches, more like the palms.

yes I dont like how it come out the bush , but what you mean the round display like palms?

Also can you suggest some picture of grass types and eventually flower plants for jungle , tropical islands and rainforest?

right now I was improving the ivy , the lianas and the bromeliads...

The leaves on palms are arranged in a spiral - if you look closely, you'll find that the leaves on Beach Naupaka are arranged similarly - around the stems, rather than flatly along them.

For grasses in the jungle, there really aren't any that you'd think "grass" about that occur in untouched jungle - grass in that sense requires more sun than it would get in a jungle environment. However there is bamboo - this is most definitely a jungle thing, particularly in the higher altitudes.

For flowers, take a look at http://fm2.fieldmuseum.org/plantguides/color_images.asp and search on "Gesneriaceae" and "Ericaceae" - that will get you tons of photos, quite detailed ones, of the two most common jungle genera in the New World. For Old World, go to www.tropicos.org and search the photos there; I'm not as up on my old-world tropical flowers, but you can restrict the search by continent and often country. "Zingiberales" is a good starting point, though.

I still not understand whats the difference in the arangement that you mean ... technically in the model view

the leaves of the palms are flat horizont like then they bend toward terrain , disposed as star all arlund the center top and make a sort of Ball shape .....

You mean that the overall ball shape should be applied to the naupaka too or that instead you mean may be the arangement of leaves or what?

That's a lot better - and certainly more visually consistent with the real Naupaka.

Gorgeous. I think, apart from the flowers you were talking about earlier, that you're pretty close to done!

Quick question: are you thinking of putting in insect/bird/mammal life as well?

Here is a link to the species list on a (mostly) tropical plant database I keep, some of the more detailed photos might help. There are a lot of photos, but most of them are closeups of flower, leaf, fruit, etc. http://anthrome.wordpress.com/species-list/
