Six were in large pots and five in smaller cups. The slips were started too early and had to be clipped back several times. The potato chosen was a purple skin and most attractive. I wanted to propagate it. Rabbits like the vegetation so I placed the plants in an enclosure. This is the type planted this year. I do not know the name. The original was from a Supermarket.

26 August 2017 Sweet Potatoes. This was baked at 350F for 30 minutes and was excellent. The remaining ten will be left until mid September before digging. The plant dug was the smallest of the slips planted.
