Which maple plant is this one?

    Welcome to UBC forums.

    Sorry but your shrub/tree is not a Maple/Ace at all.
    Leaves on Acer are opposite to each other on a stem.

    Your plant has alternate leaves.

    Hopefully someone will be along soon to put a name to it.

    Dear Silver Surfer

    I appreciate your response and knowledge. But this plant has popped up from the seed which i acquired from a seedball of a full maple tree. I attach here the photo of that tree as may be after seeing it you can provide more guidance to me. See that orange colored tree on the right side. this is the one from which i got the seeds.

    shaiqbashir, look up Acer seeds or maple seeds - you will see that maples do not do seed balls, but rather have double winged fruits called samaras.
    Here is a photo of Platanus orientalis, that has the same veining pattern as your leaves:

    These have fruits that look like the ones that can be seen in your photo.
