Solar eclipse with Acer palmatum 'Atrolineare'

    Shot some pictures of the solar eclipse along side our 'Atrolineare' and clouds overhead. Managed to get a lucky shot where a break in the clouds lined up with the eclipse. We were not far enough south for the full eclipse and total darkness. In 7 years we will have the total eclipse pass over Cleveland in April!

    Picture taken around our peak time and either got lucky or caught an optical illusion... upload_2017-8-24_19-36-59.png

    If it were an illusion, I got 5 other shots with it taken in succession with the same eclipse position with changes in the cloud position; and about 30 others of just clouds and varying brightness, so I think its the real thing...
