    Hello!

I’ve been working on an art series called “Codex Pacificus” where I capture an overview of a plant, along with details and its seeds. Here’s my photo for Salmonberry.

Hope some of you are enjoying the ripe Salmonberries out now!

Sorry, this isn’t under a Creative Commons license.

    Family: Rosaceae
    Scientific Name: Rubus spectabilis
Location: Coquitlam River, Port Coquitlam, British Columbia

That's lovely. Will the series be an exhibition, or a book, or a website, or what?

    Hi Wendy,
I've exhibited the series in Coquitlam this past April. You can view the full series here:

It's an ongoing series so I hope to have another 10 or so more images complete for 2017.
I would love it to be part of a book one day, but I think I need to create many more botanicals first.

Thanks for the link, Laara. I enjoyed looking at the others too, and particularly the accompanying notes.

Very nice! We only put UBC staff photos under CC Licenses--for other contributors, we ask people to contact the copyright holder (e.g., see today's entry: Bahiopsis laciniata ). You are ok with this being used for BPotD though?
