Will landscaping material (sewn together) work for this purpose? We had a diseased tree removed, and now we have an area of the backyard that can catch some serious sunlight, and I was thinking about making a raised bed with several garden socks lying side by side. Our city will be selling leaf mulch pretty soon, and I thought about filling the socks with it. Does this sound doable?
