Can dryopteris affinis (golden shield fern) be grown indoors?

    I was wondering if anyone knew if the golden shield fern ( dryopteris affinis) can be grown as a houseplant

    I can provide the humidity and partial shade it needs

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Probably not, it needs cool moist conditions, and a definite winter dormant period.
