Apple cultivars least susceptible to european canker

Hi

Does anyone know of a source (website, book, newsletter, etc.) that identifies apple varieties that are least susceptible to european canker (Nectria Canker, Nectria galligena)?

I found one source that says "can be a problem on varieties with enlarged
terminal fruiting spurs, such as Rome Beauty and Jerseyred."

And, I found another source that says "Complete resistance to the pathogen in apple is not known."

But are there cultivars that are less susceptible?

 

Well, I found another source that says "Trees of the cultivars 'Summerland Red MacIntosh" and "Harrold's Delicious" were quite susceptible ....while "Spartan" and "Goldern Delicious" proved relatively resisitant."

I also found reference to

ELLISONS ORANGE- somewhat canker prone.

FORTUNE- ...European Canker, to which it is irritatingly suceptible.

SPARTAN - It is somewhat prone to European canker. (which is contradicted by another source that says it is relatively resistant.)

No doubt there is a good list somewhere.

I hope that will help. I noticed that the Gravenstein is more susceptible on one site and more resistant on the other. I would am tempted to assume that OSU would have a geographical advantage over the European web site
