    Hi,

I live in the Lower Mainland and would like to buy and grow Dwarf Almond Tree. I tried my local nurseries but don't have.

Is there any nursery in BC, Canada that sells them.

    Thanks for your help,

Haven't heard anything yet from them. Please suggest any other place as well. I found one in Quebec named greenbarn nursery but asking price is close to $235. Tree name is Prince Almond tree.

Thank you! I'll go through these nurseries.

Actual listed price for Prince Almond tree is $145 but after tax and shipping it's is around $235. Which is quite expensive & honestly I can't spend that much.

Have you checked Cedar Rim or Art's Nursery? - I know they used to carry the trees.
You also might want to check with Phoenix Perennials in Richmond - I bought a combo tree a few years ago that included almond.

As for bringing in from outside of BC, make sure you check with the seller - BC has very strict regulations about shipping fruit and nut trees into the province and most will not ship to BC.....I had to pay extra for a permit to bring in some butternuts a few years back (and most fruits trees are not allowed period)

Thank you! For sharing important information regarding shipping as I was not aware about this.

I already been to Cedar Rim & Arts nursery and they don't have. I'll try Phoenix nursery hope I'll get something there. Thanks again.

Not sure if they are dwarf varieties but Triple Tree Nursery has two different varieties in stock right now (I was there just this morning), I believe he said $69.99 each.
And in case you weren't aware, you need 2 different types to get nuts.

Thank you! I will enquire with them. The variety I'm looking for doesn't require pollinator.
