Identification: Anybody know what kind of cactus this is?

    I just barely bought him, and I think he might be some type of torch cactus. I don't know, though.

    Possibly Trichocereus. It is a bit too young to be reliably identified, though.

    I was inclined to believe that it was Trichocereus peruviana , but the fact that it has 10 ribs kinda dissuaded me from that.

    So your plant has 10 ribs? Then T. peruvianus i less likely, but there are other candiates, like T. huascha and its close relatives.
